Wade went 1-for-2 with a double and a run in a loss to the Guardians on Wednesday.
Making his second straight start at shortstop, Wade hit safely for the second consecutive game while collecting his first extra-base hit in 13 big-league appearances this season. The well-traveled veteran is slated to remain with the Athletics through Kevin Smith's (back) stint on the injured list, at minimum.
