Brinson (hamstring) has started rehabbing with Rookie-league Arizona this week, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

The Brewers remain hopeful that their top prospect will be able to make a full recovery with a couple weeks left and receive some more time at the big-league level before the end of the season. When Brinson went down with the hamstring strain in mid-August, the club thought it would take between 4-to-6 weeks before he would be able to return, which sets a mid-September activation as slightly optimistic. Once Brinson is able to ramp up his efforts and participate more extensively in drills and live hitting, a more definitive timetable should become present.
