Pannone was designated for assignment by the Brewers on Saturday.
Pannone had his contract selected Wednesday but made just one appearance before being removed from the roster, allowing a pair of runs on five hits in 2.2 innings of relief against the Pirates on Friday. J.B. Bukauskas and Clayton Andrews joined the active roster to replace Pannone and Matt Bush, who was also designated for assignment.
