Clayton Kershaw: Doesn't get qualifying offer

Kershaw (forearm) did not receive a qualifying offer from the Dodgers, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

This is not a great sign for Kershaw's health heading into 2022, as the Dodgers have more medical information on him than anyone and didn't want to risk him accepting the one-year, $18.4 million qualifying offer. He is now a free agent without any draft pick penalty attached, so there will likely be a lot of suitors if he is able to recover from the forearm discomfort that limited him down the stretch.
