Gonzalez (back) was activated from the disabled list Thursday.
Apparently everything checked out with Gonzalez after playing in his second rehab game Wednesday, clearing the way for him to rejoin the Dodgers. He should immediately resume everyday duties at first base. Scott Van Slyke was optioned back to Triple-A in a corresponding move.
