Bellinger blasted a two-run homer off Mike Mayers in the seventh inning to increase the Dodgers' lead to seven runs. He extended his hitting streak to a season-high five games. The 25-year-old has struggled tremendously in 2021, slashing .175/.269/.323 with seven long balls, 24 RBI and 30 runs scored in 216 plate appearances.
