Rios will undergo surgery next week to address a partially torn labrum in his right shoulder and miss the rest of the season.
The 27-year-old went 4-for-51 before landing on the injured list last week and won't retake the field in 2021. Rios will eventually move to the 60-day injured list and is expected to be ready for the start of spring training next year.
