Giants' Austin Slater: Not in Wednesday's lineup

Slater is out of the lineup versus the Padres on Wednesday, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Slater will take up a spot on the bench for a second straight day as Hunter Pence gets a start in right field for the series finale.
