Plesac allowed two earned runs on six hits and one walk while striking out four across 5.1 innings in the win over the White Sox in Game 2 of Thursday's doubleheader. He did not factor into the decision.

Plesac surrendered two runs on an Andrew Vaughn single in the sixth inning. He has been solid as of late, carrying a 3.60 ERA in 35 innings over his last six starts. On the season, the 26-year-old has a 4.54 ERA and 1.18 WHIP with 98 punchouts in 136.2 innings.
