Juan Graterol: Hits open market

Graterol declared for free agency Monday.

Graterol accepted an outright assignment to Triple-A Louisville last week but apparently had a change of heart on the matter after meeting with the Reds' brass. The 30-year-old catcher is now free to test the open market but will more than likely have to settle for a minor-league deal if he wishes to keep his career going.
