Miley (illness) threw a simulated game Tuesday and is ready to make his season debut Sunday against the Yankees, Peter Schmuck of the Baltimore Sun reports.

Davis threw 87 pitches Tuesday and was happy with how he felt after the workout. However, he mentioned that he was still figuring out his control and threw some pitches higher than he would have liked. Miley doesn't expect to have a pitch count for Sunday's outing, as the purpose of Tuesday's workout wasn't for him to prove he was physically able to throw. Rather, it was to give him the chance to pitch for an extended period of time after missing much of the spring with the flu.
