Swarzak was added to the Phillies' 60-man player pool Friday, Meghan Montemurro of The Athletic reports.
Swarzak isn't on the Phillies' 40-man roster, but he should still have a decent chance to throw a fair amount of big-league innings this season. The veteran righty posted a 4.56 ERA in 53.1 innings with Seattle and Atlanta last season.
