Pirates' Michael Feliz: Agrees to deal with Pittsburgh

Feliz (forearm) signed a one-year, $1 million contract with the Pirates on Wednesday to avoid arbitration, Alex Stumpf of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.

The 27-year-old was shut down with a forearm injury in early August after only three appearances, but the Pirates want him back for 2021. Feliz was a solid bullpen piece in 2019 with a 3.99 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 73:27 K:BB across 56.1 innings.
