Hamilton is out of the lineup Thursday against the Phillies, MLB.com's Mark Sheldon reports.
Hamilton has started the first two games of the season in center field for the Reds, batting at the bottom of the order in each. After beginning the season 0-for-6, he'll get the day off in favor of Scott Schebler in center field.
