Kemp got his first hit as a Red in Wednesday's loss to the Brewers with a single in the ninth inning.
Unfortunately for Kemp and the Reds, he didn't come around to score, as they were shut out by Freddy Peralta and Alex Wilson. Kemp is just 1-for-12 with five strikeouts in the first five games of the season.
