Reynolds is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Diamondbacks, Jenny Cavnar of Root Sports reports.
The 32-year-old will give way to Daniel Descalso at first base after five consecutive starts. Reynolds hit safely in those five starts and the power is finally starting to show up a little as well, as he's hit three homers this week to bring his total to seven on the year. Reynolds is striking out at a career-low rate this season but the average is still a mirage (.377 BABIP, .299 for career).
