Blankenhorn went 2-for-4 with a home run Saturday. He's 3-for-10 in three games for Low-A Cedar Rapids.
Blackenhorn, taken 80th overall in the 2015 draft, showed promise last season with a .900 OPS and nine home runs in rookie ball before holding his own at Low-A with a .774 OPS at age 19. If he can improve his command of the strike zone (5.4 walk rate last year in rookie ball), he could move to High-A Fort Myers early in the season.
