White Sox's Tanner Banks: Drawing start Friday

Banks will start for the White Sox on Friday in Oakland, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Banks will be making his third straight appearance as a starter, though he hasn't worked more than 3.2 innings in any outing so he could essentially be serving as an extended opener. Jesse Scholtens followed Banks the last time out and is a candidate to do so again Friday.
