Vucevic entered the NBA's health and safety protocols Thursday after testing positive for COVID-19, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. He will miss at least 10 days.

The loss of Vucevic is a significant hit to the Bulls, who are playing exceptionally and boast the second-best record in the Eastern Conference heading into Thursday's games. However, Chicago has a thin bench, and Tony Bradley could be forced to step in as the starting center with no other real options at the position. In addition to Bradley seeing more action, Alize Johnson, Derrick Jones and Javonte Green could pick up more minutes. As for Vucevic, a 10-day timetable would result in him missing five games, with a Nov. 21 game against the Knicks representing his earliest possible return date.
