Thompson failed to score (0-3 FG) during Thursday's 113-91 loss to the Warriors in Game 1 of the NBA finals, contributing only four rebounds and two assists over 22 minutes.

Thompson had served as an effective complementary offensive presence throughout the postseason, even contributing a trio of double-digit scoring tallies. However, he was minimally involved Thursday, as LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love combined for 55 shot attempts between them. Thompson didn't play much of a role on the glass either, with his four rebounds serving as his second-lowest total in that category in 14 playoff tilts. He'll look to bounce back with a more productive outing in Sunday's Game 2.
