Noah (knee) is set to resume strength training Monday, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.

It's the first step in the rehab process from arthroscopic left knee surgery for Noah, who underwent the procedure last week. He was spotted walking without a limp Sunday, but until he's cleared to resume running, the Knicks likely won't have a clear idea of how well he's coming along in his recovery. Noah was given a recovery timetable of three-to-four weeks upon undergoing the surgery, which would potentially allow the center to get in a few games before the season ends. However, with the Knicks looking unlikely to contend for a playoff spot, it seems more probable than not that Noah will be sidelined the rest of the way and turn his attention toward getting healthy for the training camp in the fall.
