Asik played only six minutes in Monday's 112-111 loss to the Rockets, finishing with three points (1-1 FG, 1-2 FT) and two rebounds.

Though the Pelicans were without Anthony Davis (concussion) for the entire second half, Asik still didn't benefit from a bump in usage, as coach Alvin Gentry elected to stick with more small-ball configurations to counter the Rockets' own undersized lineup. Asik will likely see a big bump in usage in Thursday's matchup with the Kings and their big, lanky frontcourt of DeMarcus Cousins and Willie Cauley-Stein, but he still probably can't be counted on to provide much fantasy value beyond the rebounds category.
