The Blazers announced Sunday that Lillard (abdomen) will be re-evaluated in 2-to-3 weeks after progressing through the initial phase of his rehabilitation without a setback.

Lillard will begin the conditioning phase of his rehab next week, which includes returning to basketball skill activity. The star point guard underwent surgery in mid-January and has reached all the necessary benchmarks during his first six-week window. Barring a setback, Lillard will likely be able to return to game action following the next phase of his rehab, which would set him up for potential return in late March. The Trail Blazers currently occupy the last play-in spot in the Western Conference, but they are just one game ahead of the Pelicans, who have been playing well since the acquisition of Lillard's former teammate CJ McCollum.
