Bills' Christian Benford: Placed on IR

Buffalo moved Benford (oblique) to injured reserve Saturday.

Benford suffered an oblique injury Thanksgiving against the Lions and was initially said to be week-to-week. Now that he's been placed on IR, the cornerback will miss at least four games. Prior to the injury, Benford had logged at least 23 defensive snaps in all but one of the contests in which he played this season, and he had totaled 24 tackles (17 solo) and one interception across nine games.
