Bronson Kaufusi: Cut by Green Bay

The Packers cut Kaufusi on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Kaufusi has only played in nine NFL games over the past four years. The 2016 third-round pick was a long shot -- despite rave reviews from Aaron Rodgers -- to make the initial 53-man roster, as the Packers have experience and depth throughout their tight end corps. Green Bay will likely look to bring him back on its practice squad if he doesn't draw interest elsewhere.
