Green (illness) won't be available to return from the reserve/COVID-19 list for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Considering Green tested positive for the virus Wednesday, he faced an uphill battle to clear all health and safety protocols ahead of Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. In addition to Green, tight end Demetrius Harris will also remain on the reserve/COVID-19 list for the Week 9 matchup, and the Cardinals will be missing three coaches for similar reasons. Arizona could be without two of its three starting receivers Sunday, as No. 1 option DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) didn't practice all week and is being treated as a game-day decision.
