Carter signed a three-year deal with the Dolphins on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Carter spent the first four seasons of his career in Cincinnati, though he missed all of 2018 with an arm injury. Though he's appeared in at least 15 games in his three other campaigns, Carter has commanded only 11 career targets. Instead, his primary value comes as a blocker, and he'll now work behind the likes of Mike Gesicki, Durham Smythe and Adam Shaheen in Miami.
