Watch Now: Quarterbacks With New Teams: Cam Newton With The Patriots (3:25)

Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, an early draft pick in many formats last year who caught just 42 passes for 552 yards and three touchdowns, was one of the season's Fantasy football busts. Smith-Schuster's stock was high entering the year, but Pittsburgh's revolving quarterback issues and his own injuries caused the investment owners made in him to be a waste. As owners begin preparing their 2020 Fantasy football draft strategy, should you fade Smith-Schuster once again?

Top 2020 Fantasy football busts

SportsLine's Fantasy football rankings 2020 and cheat sheets are fading Lions tight end T.J. Hockenson. The eighth overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, Hockenson struggled to adapt at times in Detroit's offense his rookie season. He finished with 32 receptions for 267 yards and just two touchdowns, but 131 of those yards came in his debut against Arizona on Sept. 8.

Hockenson topped 50 yards in only one game after that, Nov. 3 against Oakland, with 56 yards. His issues in 2019 were partly due to an injured right ankle that caused him to miss the final four games of the season. It was the second major injury for Hockenson in 2019, as he also sustained a concussion against Kansas City. SportsLine's model ranks Hockenson as one of its 2020 Fantasy football busts, listing him behind tight ends like Chris Herndon, Eric Ebron and Jack Doyle in its 2020 Fantasy football rankings.

Another bust that SportsLine's Fantasy football rankings 2020 have identified: Patriots running back James White. The seven-year veteran's value in New England has been mainly as a pass-catching back, as he has hauled in at least 55 receptions out of the backfield in each of the past four seasons. But with quarterback Tom Brady gone to Tampa Bay and Cam Newton's health in question, White's value in PPR leagues could see a substantial dip.

White's downward trend began in 2019, as his touchdown production dropped to six total TDs from 12 in 2018. Although a versatile running back like White is valuable in Fantasy football lineups, the switch from Brady to Newton or Jarrett Stidham leaves his value uncertain. SportsLine's model agrees, listing White outside the top 40 running backs in its 2020 Fantasy football rankings, behind players like Darrell Henderson, Tony Pollard and Phillip Lindsay.
