Maye (Achilles) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Ethan Greenberg of the Jets' official website reports.
As expected, Maye was placed on injured reserve after suffering a torn Achilles that will knock him out for the remainder of the season. The 28-year-old safety finished the 2021 campaign with 46 tackles and one sack in just six games played.
