Panthers' Julius Peppers: Lands on PUP list

Peppers (shoulder) was placed on the Panthers' Physically Unable to Perform list Wednesday, Joe Person of The Charlotte Observer reports.

Peppers, who remains on the mend from surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder, failed his pre-training camp physical, prompting his placement on the PUP list. There's been no exact timetable provided for his return.
