Bower (illness) was absent from the Patriots' injury report Thursday.
Bower was forced to miss last week's win over the Cardinals due to the ailment, but he appears on track for a return to the field. Bower has played sparingly in the four games he's been active with the Patriots this season, so he'll likely assume his usual reserve defensive end role for Sunday's game against the Chargers.
