Nixon (ankle) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Bengals, according to Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com.
Nixon headed to the sidelines last Sunday against the Chiefs and couldn't recover in time, as evidenced by the fact that he was unable to practice throughout the week. This means Brandon Facyson (finger/hamstring) or Amik Robertson could be in line to gain more snaps as replacements, though it remains to be seen if Facyson will play or not.
