Ingram is expected to start for an absent Alvin Kamara (knee) on Sunday in Tennessee, Katherine Terrell of The Athletic reports.
Kamara was unable to practice this week due to what was called a mild knee sprain. The Saints may be exercising caution with their star running back with the long term in mind, but Ingram is set to handle the bulk of the Saints' backfield reps Week 10. In two games since he returned to New Orleans via trade from Houston on Oct. 27, Ingram has averaged 4.7 yards on 15 carries and hauled in all seven targets for 46 yards. Meanwhile, Ty Montgomery (hamstring) and Dwayne Washington are the current options on the active roster for RB reps, with Lamar Miller and Josh Adams candidates to be elevated from the practice squad.
