Steven Johnson: Let go by Steelers

Johnson was released by the Steelers on Saturday.

Somebody on the 53-man roster needed to be let go in order to fully activate the returning Le'Veon Bell, and Johnson was the odd man out. The 29-year-old figures to be a candidate to land on the team's practice squad.
