The Vikings signed Lamur on Wednesday, the team's official site reports.

After his second NFL season was wiped away by a shoulder injury, Lamur served as a starting outside linebacker in Cincinnati in 2014, racking up 91 tackles (53 solo) and two interceptions in 14 games. However, he was relegated to reserve duty and special teams snaps last year, when he fell back to 40 tackles, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. Upon joining the Vikings, he could compete for another top role at OLB with Chad Greenway.
