Bridgewater (knee) was cleared by his doctor to progress to the next phase of his rehab and begin moving side to side, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Bridgewater, who didn't attend practice Wednesday in order to meet with his doctor in Dallas, remains ahead of schedule in his recovery. There's still no timetable regarding a potential return to full workouts, but Bridgewater was seen taking snaps and throwing during Tuesday's OTAs. Given the severe nature of the quarterback's injury, lateral movement could be a tough step in the rehab process, but Bridgewater is determined to get back on the field.
