The Saints signed Patrick (calf) to a one-year contract Sunday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports. Patrick appeared in 23 games with 20 starts over the past two seasons with Chicago. The 30-year-old was the team's starting center for almost the entire 2023 campaign, but he ended the year on IR due to an unspecified calf injury. While the nature of this issue was never revealed, Patrick now appears to be healthy again. He should now provide depth along the interior of New Orleans' offensive line.... See More ... See Less

Bears' Lucas Patrick: Heads to IR
Patrick (calf) was placed on the Bears' injured reserve list Saturday, Larry Mayer of the team's official site reports. Patrick has been playing through a back injury since Nov. 19, but he popped up on the Bears' injury report Friday with a calf injury. He will now miss Chicago's regular-season finale against the Packers. In Patrick's absence, Dan Feeney is set to take over at center.... See More ... See Less -
Bears' Lucas Patrick: Active Sunday
Patrick (back) is active ahead of Sunday's game against the Falcons. The 30-year-old offensive lineman was able to log back-to-back limited sessions to end Chicago's week of practice, and it now seems as if he'll be able to play through his back issue in Week 17. Patrick is expected to assume his normal duties as the Bears' starting center Sunday.... See More ... See Less -
Bears' Lucas Patrick: Practices in full
Patrick (back) was a full participant in Friday's practice. Bears' Lucas Patrick: Suffers back injury
Patrick is doubtful to return to Sunday's game after suffering a back injury, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports. Patrick likely suffered his back injury during the first half of today's game, and there's a slim chance that he's able to return. Dan Feeney has stepped in at center on the Bears' offensive line.... Bears' Lucas Patrick: Questionable for Sunday night
Patrick was added to the Bears' injury report with a back issue and is questionable for Sunday's contest against the Chargers, Dan Wiederer of the Chicago Tribune reports. With Patrick now on the injury report, the Bears may have to shuffle their offensive line more than they already have. Cody Whitehair -- who is the usual starting center -- has shifted to right guard with Nate Davis (ankle) ruled out for Week 8. If Patrick is unable to play, Doug Kramer would fill in at the starting center position.... See More ... See Less -
Bears' Lucas Patrick: Out for game
