MLB: Milwaukee Brewers at San Francisco Giants

The top two teams in the National League Central -- the St. Louis Cardinals and Milwaukee Brewers -- open a key three-game series on Friday at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. The Cardinals (61-50) own a slim ½-game lead over the Brewers (60-50) in the division. After this week's series, the teams will play just four more times this year. St. Louis is a -170 favorite (risk $170 to win $100) in the latest MLB odds from Caesars Sportsbook while Milwaukee is a +143 underdog. First pitch is set for 8:15 p.m. ET.

The game is one of 14 on the MLB schedule for Friday. Elsewhere in the majors, Juan Soto and Josh Bell return to Washington for the first time since being traded to San Diego. The Padres are big -292 favorites in that one. The Yankees (-120) and Red Sox, meanwhile, begin a series in Boston.
