  • Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Productive from leadoff spot

Crow-Armstrong went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Marlins. Crow-Armstrong has moved up to the top of the order recently with Ian Happ (oblique) out, and the former has continued to deliver. The youngster is in the midst of a breakout campaign with 11 home runs and 13 stolen bases, both of which lead the team. Crow-Armstrong's combination of power and speed makes him a very useful fantasy asset.

Crow-Armstrong went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI in Wednesday's 3-1 loss to the Giants. The speedy outfielder is off to a good start in 2025 with a .265 batting average and .840 OPS through 38 games. Crow-Armstrong also leads the Cubs with 12 stolen bases in 14 attempts, and his nine home runs are tied with Seiya Suzuki and Kyle Tucker for the team high.

Crow-Armstrong went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Brewers. Crow-Armstrong stayed dialed in at the plate, hitting his third home run in the last two days against Milwaukee. For the season, the talented young outfielder has an .871 OPS and nine long balls, all of which have come since April 13. Crow-Armstrong leads the majors in homers since that date. He's also fourth in MLB with 12 stolen bases, making him a dynamic dual threat.

  • Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Blasts two homers in win

Crow-Armstrong went 2-for-5 with a pair of solo home runs in Friday's 10-0 win over the Brewers. Crow-Armstrong capped off a seven-run rally in the second inning with his first homer and added another long ball in the seventh. He's up to eight homers this season, including five over his last nine games. In that span, he's gone 11-for-36 (.306) with 13 RBI, seven runs scored and four stolen bases. The outfielder is putting it all together as the Cubs' starting center fielder, batting .271 with an .859 OPS across 33 contests this season. He's added 23 RBI, 25 runs and 12 steals, giving him excellent category coverage in fantasy.

  • Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Shows off speed Friday

Crow-Armstrong went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored in Friday's 4-0 win over the Phillies. He also stole two bases. Crow-Armstrong is displaying his strength as a base stealer early in the season, as he already has 12 swipes in 13 attempts and he's stolen two bases in each of his last two games. The youngster had 27 steals a year ago while batting only .237 with a .286 on-base percentage. Crow-Armstrong is batting .295 with a .339 on-base percentage so far in 2025, and he could fly past his 2024 steals total if he keeps reaching base at a higher clip.

  • Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Blasts off in win

Crow-Armstrong went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run, two total runs scored and three RBI in Tuesday's 11-10, 10-inning win over the Dodgers. Crow-Armstrong laced an RBI double in the first inning, then mashed his fourth home run of the year in the fifth with a runner on. The 23-year-old outfielder also has eight stolen bases in nine attempts, and his combination of power and speed makes him an intriguing fantasy option with plenty of upside in just his second full MLB season.

  • Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Continues strong stretch

Crow-Armstrong went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Padres. After batting just .148 with no home runs though seven games in March, Crow-Armstrong has heated up in April. The youngster is now batting .315 with three long balls in 14 games this month. Crow-Armstrong is also continuing to showcase his trademark wheels, as he's swiped seven bases in eight attempts this season. If Crow-Armstrong can keep making consistent contact, his combination of power and speed makes him an intriguing fantasy option.

  • Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Remains hot Monday

Crow-Armstrong went 3-for-4 with a double, a run, an RBI and a stolen base in Monday's loss to the Padres. A day after belting his first two homers of the campaign against the Dodgers, Crow-Armstrong shined again with his second straight three-hit performance. The speedy center fielder also logged his seventh swipe of the season, moving him into a tie for second place in that category across the majors. Crow-Armstrong was below the Mendoza Line with a .184 batting average as recently as April 7, but he's since logged a trio of three-hit efforts over his past six games to boost his season slash line up to .257/.313/.432.

  • Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Goes deep twice Sunday

Crow-Armstrong went 3-for-4 with two solo homers and a triple in Sunday's 4-2 win against the Dodgers. The 24-year-old propelled the Chicago offense with his second career multi-homer game (the first came July 14, 2024 against St. Louis). Crow-Armstrong cracked a 370-foot homer to right in the third inning before returning in the seventh to launch a majestic 412-foot long ball to center, marking his first two home runs of 2025. After entering this game with an anemic .197/.264/.258 slash line over 73 plate appearances, perhaps this performance will kick start Crow-Armstrong's season.

  • Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Busy night against Rangers

Crow-Armstrong went 3-for-5 with two RBI, two stolen bases and one run scored in Tuesday's 10-6 win over the Rangers. It was a busy night for Crow-Armstrong, who singled, stole second base and came around to score a go-ahead run in the third inning. After singling and swiping another bag in the fourth frame, the speedy center fielder tacked on some insurance runs via a two-run single in the eighth. Perhaps Tuesday's performance gets the former top prospect on track, as he's batting just .222 with zero homers and five RBI across 54 at-bats, though he does have three doubles, 10 runs scored and six pilfers through 14 games.

  • Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Doubles, swipes bag in win

Crow-Armstrong went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Wednesday's 10-2 win over the Athletics. He also stole a base. Crow-Armstrong was effective in the lopsided win, and he seems to be rounding into form. Over his last three games, the speedy outfielder has gone 5-for-13 with two doubles, two RBI and three runs scored. It's a small sample, but if Crow-Armstrong can keep it up, he should be able to post useful fantasy numbers due to his ability on the basepaths.

  • Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Swipes first bag

Crow-Armstrong went 1-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored in Thursday's 10-6 win over the Diamondbacks. He also stole a base. It's been a bit of a slow start to the year for Crow-Armstrong, who went 0-for-7 with three strikeouts in Chicago's two-game opening series in Tokyo earlier this month. He didn't swipe any bags during that series either, but he got back to running once he reached base during the domestic opener. Maintaining a decent batting average remains a concern for Crow-Armstrong, but the 23-year-old has shown that he can record steals at a high rate when he gets the opportunity.

  • Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Having stellar spring

Through 10 Cactus League games, Crow-Armstrong is slashing .519/.500/1.000 with three home runs and 11 RBI. The young outfielder handled a regular MLB role for the first time in 2024, and while he batted only .237 with a .286 on-base percentage, he did muster 10 home runs and 27 stolen bases in 123 games. Per Mike Petriello of MLB.com, Crow-Armstrong made some tweaks to his swing as the 2024 campaign went on, including moving back in the batter's box. The adjustments seemed to help, and if he can carry over some of his spring momentum into 2025, Crow-Armstrong could be poised for a true breakout effort.

  • Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Returning to lineup Tuesday

Crow-Armstrong (hamstring) will return to the Chicago lineup for Tuesday's Cactus League game against the Padres, Bruce Levine of 670TheScore.com reports. He'll start in center field and bat seventh. Crow-Armstrong was scratched from the lineup for Monday's game against the Diamondbacks due to right hamstring tightness, but the young outfielder said his absence was precautionary, and he could have played if necessary. The 22-year-old is slated to serve as the Cubs' everyday center fielder this season.

  • Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Scratched with tight hamstring

Crow-Armstrong was scratched from the lineup for Monday's Cactus League game against the Diamondbacks due to right hamstring tightness, Maddie Lee of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. The Cubs are labeling Crow-Armstrong's removal from the lineup as precautionary, but a hamstring injury is nonetheless worrisome, especially for a player who relies so much on his speed. Consider Crow-Armstrong day-to-day for the time being.

  • Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Homer, steal in extra-inning loss

Crow-Armstrong went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a stolen base and two total runs scored in Saturday's 6-5 extra-inning loss to the Rockies. The steal was Crow-Armstrong's first since he swiped three bags versus the Pirates on Aug. 26. The outfielder has put together a decent September so far, going 12-for-41 (.293) with three extra-base hits over 12 contests, though he also has 16 strikeouts in that span. For the year, he's at a .238/.289/396 slash line with nine homers, 27 thefts, 44 RBI and 39 runs scored over 109 games.

  • Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Keeps rolling Wednesday

Crow-Armstrong went 3-for-4 with a double, a solo home run, an additional run scored and three total RBI in Wednesday's 12-0 win over the Pirates. At the end of July, Crow-Armstrong was batting just .194 with three home runs. In 30 games since then, the young outfielder is batting .327 with five long balls. Crow-Armstrong's greatest strength remains his speed, as he has 26 stolen bases in 27 attempts this season, but his recent production at the plate has unlocked another level of fantasy relevance. The 22-year-old could be poised for a true breakout campaign in 2025 if he can get off to a faster start, as he has the tools to be a star player.

  • Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Stays hot Wednesday

Crow-Armstrong went 4-for-4 with a walk, an RBI and four runs scored in Wednesday's 14-10 win over the Pirates. It was the first career four-hit game for Crow-Armstrong as the young outfielder stayed locked in at the plate. Over his last eight games, he's batting a robust .448. About the only thing missing Wednesday for Crow-Armstrong was a stolen base, but he's still tied for the team lead with 26 steals this season. The 22-year-old is coming into his own at the MLB level.

  • Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Homers in Friday's win

Crow-Armstrong went 1-for-2 with a walk and a solo home run in Friday's 7-6, 10-inning win over the Blue Jays. Crow-Armstrong got the start in center field and blasted his fifth home run of the season in the fifth inning. Two of those long balls have come in the past four games. Crow-Armstrong was ultimately lifted for a pinch hitter in the ninth, and Cody Bellinger finished the game in center as he saw his first outfield action since returning from the injured list in late July. If Bellinger sees more time in center moving forward, Crow-Armstrong could see his playing time decrease, though he's at least a strong candidate to serve as a pinch runner or defensive replacement on days he doesn't start.

  • Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Goes deep in loss

Crow-Armstrong went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Monday's 9-8 loss to the Guardians Crow-Armstrong went deep in the fourth inning for his fourth home run of the season and first since July 14, when he left the yard twice. The 22-year-old is known more for his speed, as he has 23 stolen bases this year, though he did launch 20 homers combined between Double-A and Triple-A in 2023. If Crow-Armstrong can develop his power at the MLB level, he'd take a big step forward as a fantasy asset.
