If the Cincinnati Bengals are going to get back in the AFC playoff race, they're going to have to do something they've never done before: Beat the Giants in New York.

They're also going to have to do something they almost never do: Win a road game in prime time.

Those two factors could spell disaster for the Bengals when they visit New York on Monday night for a Week 10 showdown against the Giants. This week's game will mark the fourth time in franchise history that the Bengals have played the Giants in New York, with the Bengals winning exactly zero of those games (0-3).

To beat the Giants, the Bengals are going to have to avoid a prime-time meltdown, which has been easier said than done over the past five years. Since drafting Andy Dalton in 2011, the Bengals are just 5-10 under the lights, including a horrible 1-7 mark in road prime-time games.

On the Giants' end, New York could be missing two key starters on Monday. The team has already ruled out starting guard Justin Pugh, which could mean trouble for Eli Manning. With a starting offensive lineman missing, it won't be easy for the Giants to protect Manning against what should be a bloodthirsty Bengals defensive line that will be completely fresh coming off a bye.

The Giants could also be missing Victory Cruz and linebacker Jonathan Casillas in this game. Both players were listed as questionable on the team's final injury report that was released on Saturday.
