Is Carson Wentz for real?

That's the question on everyone's mind as the Eagles head into their biggest game of the season on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Eagles' third-string quarterback just three weeks ago, Wentz has done nothing but impress as the starter in wins over the Browns and the Bears. The rookie has completed 43 of 71 passes for 468 yards and three touchdowns, but some point to the competition and say Wentz has yet to be challenged.

"Come on, man. Fool's gold," CBS Sports NFL analyst and former Ravens and Jets linebacker Bart Scott said during an appearance on "The DA Show." "He's played the JV. He could play Towson University and get a harder challenge than playing those two teams."

Harsh words, but critics like Scott will be silenced if Wentz can put up another strong showing against the Steelers, whose defense has looked strong in wins over the Redskins and Bengals.

On offense, Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown and company have performed up to expectations -- they put up 24 points against a strong Bengals defense and 38 points against a not-so-strong Redskins unit.

The Eagles defense has been solid, but has yet to face anything close to what the Steelers bring to the table.

It should be a good one.

Prisco's Pick

The Eagles have really impressed in their two victories. The defense has been really good. They face a real challenge here in the Steelers offense. I think the Steelers will take it, but it will be close.
