Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers led San Diego to an easy win at Jacksonville on Sunday of Week 7 and made some history in the process. Rivers topped 30,000 career passing yards during the game.

The San Diego starting quarterback tossed just one touchdown pass in the game as he hit Eddie Royal for a 27-yard score in the second quarter. Royal caught the pass that elevated Rivers over 30,000. Rivers finished 22 of 26 in the game for 285 yards and the score for a rating of 125.2.

Rivers, who added 4 yards rushing on two attempts, now has 15 touchdown passes this season compared to just five interceptions. San Diego has a bye Week 8 and returns Week 9 at Washington.
