The 'Jimmy Graham' rule has claimed its first victim and fittingly, that person is Jimmy Graham. The Saints tight end has been fined $30,000 for dunking the ball over the crossbar in the Saints preseason win over Tennessee, according to NFL.com

Graham actually dunked the ball twice -- and he was flagged both times for it. The NFL outlawed dunks in March in large part thanks to Graham. The new rule was put in place after a Saints game against the Falcons was delayed for 20 minutes last season thanks to a Graham dunk that broke the field goal posts.

Even before the $30,000 fine was handed down on Friday, Graham had already said in the past week that he would try and stop dunking. "You know, for four years and however many touchdowns, I've always dunked it. And I just gotta stop doing that now," Graham said.

If anything, Graham should probably stop dunking just to stay out of Sean Payton's doghouse. Payton was not a happy camper after the team's 31-24 win over the Titans.

"I'm very upset. Would you be upset? I was, particularly," Payton said when asked about Graham's dunks

Graham might have been better off flipping the bird after his two touchdowns. Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel was fined $12,000 on Friday for popping the middle finger to the Redskins in Cleveland's Week 2 preseason game against Washington.
