#TeamChaos hasn't defeated the College Football Playoff Selection Committee yet, but it has the ball down two points with one minute remaining. And, y'all, it is driving thanks to a couple of first downs.

Tuesday's mock playoff standings didn't change all that much at the top save for Ohio State's rise to No. 2 and Washington falling two spots to No. 6. However, the three major upsets from Week 11 opened up the possibility that things could get tricky for the committee over the next few weeks.

For example: What if, say, Washington State and Utah ended up playing for the Pac-12 championship? Or Penn State and Nebraska played in the Big Ten Championship Game? The committee would be faced with decisions it hasn't been forced to make in the previous two seasons.

College football can either get a lot clearer or more muddled beginning in Week 12. Here are the five games with major playoff implications you should be following, plus five more to keep on your radar.

No. 5 Louisville at Houston

5. This was pegged as one of the nonconference games of the year before the season started for two reasons: First, it paired two good teams fighting for a possible playoff spot. Second, it was in November. While Houston (8-2) has dropped out of the playoff hunt -- the Cougars might not even win their own division in the AAC -- this game still holds plenty of significance for Louisville (9-1), which needs to keep pace in the CFP Rankings. The Cardinals are still a spot behind Clemson in the ACC and need the Tigers to lose again, preferably at Wake Forest, to have a realistic shot at the final four. Lose to Houston, though, and Louisville might miss out on that chance regardless.

Indiana at No. 3 Michigan

4. This was a tossup with Clemson's game against Wake Forest. Both are potential hangover games against better-than-advertised opponents. However, the Wolverines (9-1) have uncertainty at quarterback with the injury to Wilton Speight. The Wolverines have the clearest path to the Big Ten title game out of the East division. Win their next two games, and they're going to Indianapolis. Win that game, and they're in the playoff. Still, the Hoosiers (5-5) have lost two games by less than a touchdown and were right there with Penn State until the end.

No. 2 Ohio State at Michigan State

3. A highly ranked team playing an opponent with a losing record normally wouldn't qualify for one of the top games to watch, but Ohio State (9-1) sits in an interesting position. At No. 2, it's clear the committee is at least considering the possibility of the Buckeyes making the final four without winning its division. That doesn't mean it will happen, only that it could. The straightest path for Ohio State is winning out and having Penn State lose a game in order to avoid this scenario. That quest begins in earnest against the Spartans (3-7), who are playing for pride.

No. 22 Washington State at No. 12 Colorado

2. And now for the important game you never thought you would see. The Pac-12's playoff hopes still largely rest on Washington, the highest-ranked team from the conference, but this game takes on more meaning now than a couple of months ago. The Cougars (8-2) are anchored down by their season-opening loss to Eastern Washington, but they're on an eight-game winning streak and can get one step closer to a Pac-12 North title with a win. Colorado (8-2) has been one of college football's best stories, but the Buffs don't have a marquee win and are a long-shot for the playoff. A loss would do Colorado in for good.

No. 9 Oklahoma at No. 14 West Virginia

1. With all due respect to Oklahoma State, the Big 12's playoff hopes, as dim as they are, come down to Oklahoma (8-2) and West Virginia (8-1). The Mountaineers lack a signature win, so beating the Sooners would be a step in the right direction. Unfortunately for the 'Eers, their remaining two games are against unranked teams: Iowa State and Baylor. It's going to be hard for West Virginia to make up 10 spots without a ton of help. The Sooners, though, might have a shot as a two-loss team under the right circumstances.

Five more games to keep an eye on: No. 8 Penn State at Rutgers, Arizona State at No. 6 Washington, Oregon at No. 12 Utah, No. 4 Clemson at Wake Forest, No. 7 Wisconsin at Purdue
