SportsLine USA, Inc. Reports Record Web Site Traffic

Fort Lauderdale, FL (January 9, 1998) - SportsLine USA, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPLN) today announced Web site traffic results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 1997. During the quarter, page views grew 251% over the same quarter last year, averaging 2.8 million page views per day, compared to .8 million page views per day in the fourth quarter of 1996. This represented a 72% increase over the 1.7 million average daily page views experienced during the third quarter of 1997. During the month of December, traffic to the Company's Web sites increased 292% over the previous year to 89 million page views or 2.9 million per day.*

"SportsLine USA's traffic growth is a direct result of strong strategic relationships with distribution partners like CBS Sports, AOL, Microsoft and Netscape combined with the traditionally strong fourth quarter sports season," said Michael Levy, president and CEO of SportsLine USA, Inc.
