SportsLine USA, Inc. Begins Programming Sports News for America Online, Inc.'s Sports Channel

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (January 21, 1999) - SportsLine USA, Inc. (Nasdaq: SPLN) begins programming Sports News for America Online, Inc.'s (NYSE: AOL) Sports Channel this week as part of the previously announced expansion of SportsLine USA's and AOL's multi-year global content and commerce partnership.

As the premier provider of content to AOL's Sports Channel, CBS SportsLine (http://cbs.sportsline.com) published by SportsLine USA, has already received increased promotion and has provided additional features and major event coverage since the expanded agreement was announced in October. This week, SportsLine USA begins producing content for AOL's Sports News under the AOL brand, providing visitors to AOL's Sports Channel with award-winning comprehensive sports news and statistics, special features, major event coverage and merchandise.
