Lincecum tossed seven innings of one-run ball against Triple-A Las Vegas on Sunday while striking out five.
He returned from an illness to post one of his best outings of the season for the Bees, but the Angels seem unlikely to give Lincecum more than a start or two in the final weeks of the season since he's not currently on the 40-man roster. However, that plan may be subject to change after Matt Shoemaker was hit in the head by a comebacker during his start Sunday.
