Treinen walked two batters and notched his only out via strikeout in a scoreless outing versus San Diego on Tuesday.

After Corey Knebel allowed two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning, Treinen was summoned to record the final out in the frame. He walked both Fernando Tatis Jr. and Manny Machado to bring the tying run to the plate but struck out Jake Cronenworth to end the threat. The right-hander leads MLB with 25 holds on the campaign while registering a 2.13 ERA and 10.6 K/9 across 55 innings.
