Hundley went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's win over the Rockies.
The veteran backstop was called upon to start in place of Buster Posey (finger) for the second time in two weeks. Wednesday's X-rays on the Giants' starting catcher came back negative, but Hundley could still see an extra start or two this weekend with the addition of a DH spot in an American League ballpark. The 33-year-old has been useful when he is penciled in the lineup, slashing .276/.300/.464 in 50 starts this season.
