Banda signed a minor-league contract with the Guardians on Tuesday that includes an invitation to spring training.
Banda spent most of 2023 at the Triple-A level but made 10 appearances with the Nationals, allowing five runs in seven innings. The seven-year veteran holds a career 5.69 ERA and 109:49 K:BB over 118.2 innings.
